Warranties & Returns

Consider Network Hardware Outlet your most valuable networking and telecommunications asset. We want to help keep your systems running beyond delivery, installation and deployment. All equipment purchased from Network Hardware Outlet will include a minimum one (1) year NHO Extended Warranty with Advanced Replacement (unless otherwise noted below – see additional details by product condition). When you Request a Quote your sales representative will provide detailed warranty terms specific to the equipment you request.

Network Hardware Outlet Extended Warranty with Advanced Replacement

As an independent reseller of all major OEM networking and telecom equipment, Network Hardware Outlet will guarantee the function of all New, NHO Certified or Factory Refurbished equipment purchased for a period of one (1) year, including repair, replacement, credit or refund of items deemed nonfunctional. We also guarantee advanced replacement of NHO Certified or Factory Refurbished equipment as additional assurance for your critical network and telecom operations. Warranty Upgrades & Coverage Programs

In addition to a minimum one (1) year warranty, Network Hardware Outlet offers additional warranty coverage for new or refurbished equipment purchases. Warranty Terms & Conditions

Subject to the terms and conditions set forth below, and unless otherwise noted, all New, NHO Certified and Factory Refurbished products purchased through Network Hardware Outlet (NHO) will include a one (1) year warranty with advanced replacement. NHO warrants to the original purchaser that New, NHO Certified and Factory Refurbished products will be materially free from defects under normal use and service. The original warranty period begins on the date of the original invoice for the purchase of the product.

New OEM-compatible third party optics will include a limited lifetime warranty, which provides coverage for the product while is in service with the original purchaser or for a period of one (1) year from the end date for manufacturer support of the product.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship encountered in normal, reasonable use of the product during the warranty period. This warranty does not apply:

  1. to normal wear and tear;
  2. if the product has been mistreated or mishandled;
  3. if the product has been improperly installed or configured;
  4. if the product has been has been subject to an accident;
  5. if the product has been has been subject to lightning, power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, or other electrical stress;
  6. if the product has been subject to an act of God; or,
  7. if the product has been modified in any way.

If a product covered by this warranty is claimed to be defective, the customer must follow the warranty return policy described below. Upon receipt of returned products, NHO at its sole discretion will either choose to repair, replace, issue a credit to the customer’s account or issue a refund. The warranty period for the repaired or replaced product shall terminate upon the termination date of the original warranty period of the defective product.

This warranty does not cover Software products, Key Codes, Voice Mails, batteries, headsets, licenses and Extended Warranty agreements, Service Agreements or Special Order Items.

Unless otherwise stated, this warranty only covers New, NHO Certified and Factory Refurbished products. See exceptions below for New Open Box and "As Is" purchases. All partnered manufacturers are excluded from this warranty. Please speak with your Sales Representative for any further details.

This warranty applies to purchases made by the "end-user" of the equipment and is non-transferrable. For purchases made by equipment resellers or for the purpose of resale, the warranty period will be a maximum of 90 days.

New Open Box Warranty Terms

Products sold in New Open Box condition will also include the above stated one (1) year warranty with advanced replacement with the following exception: If product replacement is the chosen method for resolution of a warranty issue, Network Hardware Outlet may, at its discretion, choose to replace a New Open Box product with a similar product in NHO Certified condition.

"As Is" Warranty Terms

Equipment sold in "as is" condition is excluded from the above warranties. Specific warranty details, if any, will be provided in the product description, however some equipment available "as is" may not be warranted by Network Hardware Outlet. As such, if no warranty information is provided for equipment sold "as is," that equipment will not be eligible for warranty claims, return or service.

DISCLAIMERS

IN NO EVENT SHALL NETWORK HARDWARE OUTLET’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY EXCEED THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. THE WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMERS ABOVE CONSTITUTE NETWORK HARDWARE OUTLET’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE LIABILITY HEREUNDER AND IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS AND IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

IN NO EVENT WILL NETWORK HARDWARE OUTLET OR ITS EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST REVENUE, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED AND REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT.

Some states do not allow limitations on the length of implied warranties or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental and consequential damages, so some of the above provisions may not apply to you. Some states provide for additional warranty rights and remedies. The provisions in this limited warranty are not intended to limit, modify, reduce, disclaim or exclude any mandatory requirements provided by states. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

The policies documented herein are subject to change, and are effective as of the date of posting.

Warranty Return Policy

If a product covered by this limited warranty is claimed to be defective, the end-user customer must request a Return Material Authorization ("RMA") in accordance with the Returns Procedures set forth below. An RMA request will be approved only if the product is still within the warranty period and the customer follows the Returns Procedures described below.

Network Hardware Outlet will only pay the cost of shipping for the defective product to be returned to a NHO location if the customer uses the NHO-approved shipping method and account number provided in the RMA documentation.

Warranties, Software, Key Codes, Voice Mails, Service Agreements and Special Order Items are not eligible for warranty return. Please contact your sales representative if you have any questions about product eligibility for warranty return.

Non-Defective Products Return Policy

If a customer wishes to return a non-defective product, the customer must request an RMA in accordance with the Returns Procedure below. Non-defective products may be returned within 30 days from the date of the original invoice only with an approved RMA request.

For all RMA requests for non-defective products, other than an error made by Network Hardware Outlet, a restocking fee of 20% will be charged to the customer. Except in the case of an error made by Network Hardware Outlet, the customer accepts responsibility for the cost of shipping (both original and return shipment).

Customers must return the product in the same condition and packaged in the same manner in which it was delivered from Network Hardware Outlet. If a product has a manufacturer seal, and the manufacturer seal is broken, the product is not eligible for return.

Warranties, Software, Key Codes, Service Agreements and Special Order Items are not eligible for return. Please contact your sales representative if you have any questions about product eligibility for return.

Returns Procedures

To request a Return Material Authorization (RMA), please contact your Sales Representative, email Network Hardware Outlet or contact NHO by phone, toll free, at 1-877-246-5287 or internationally at +01-512-437-3075.

Please provide the following information in your request:

  • Company Name
  • Contact Name & Phone Number
  • Part Number & Quantity
  • Serial Number
  • Reason for Return

RMA products must be received by Network Hardware Outlet within 14 calendar days from the date the RMA is issued. If an RMA item is received more than 14 calendar days after the date the RMA was issued, it will not be accepted and will not be eligible for repair, replacement, credit or refund.

Return Shipping Instructions

All equipment must be returned in the same packaging condition in which it was originally delivered and include all accessory items (i.e. power supply, cables, line cards, documentation, etc.). Missing accessories or damaged equipment resulting from substandard packaging will be charged to the customer.

All product returns must have the RMA number listed on the return packing slip or external packaging. Please do not write the RMA number on the box.
